About Me

Hi All!

My name is Chase Carstensen, I’m from southern New Hampshire, and this fall I will be continuing my education as a master’s student studying Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA. I’m passionate about education, the climate, and responsible artificial intelligence/machine learning research.

Currently, my research is focused on using machine learning and AI to assist with mathematical discovery. I’m particularly interested in its applications to combinatorial optimization.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to/playing music, playing Magic: The Gathering, and being outdoors.
